🎄 I’m working on a new Christmas book, The Christmas Window, under my pen name, Devae Hickman, and I wanted to share a little of what’s taking shape.

🥧 Molly Talbot has come home to Bigfork, Montana, to help her aunt through the bakery’s busiest season. She plans to return to her life and career in New York after Christmas, but an empty bakery window catches the eye of eight-year-old Austin Foss, who finds an old photograph of the miniature village Molly once made with her aunt.

🚂 Austin wants to see the little train run again. His father, Nathan, knows a thing or two about fixing what’s broken, and before long, the three of them work on a Christmas window that means something different to each of them.

🐺 This one has a Montana Christmas, a busy bakery, a family with a secret, and a romance I’m enjoying writing. I’ll share more as Molly, Nathan, and Austin’s story grows. ❄️
