Jasper leaned back, his golden eyes glinting with amusement as he spoke. “You’d think a rattlesnake rejecting suitors for improper sand displacement would be the strangest part, but then Elias decided we needed a venue ‘worthy of her sophistication.’ Next thing I know, we’re inspecting rocks for optimal basking potential while roadrunners take bets on romantic success.” He chuckled softly. “Kaya, our love-struck serpent, watched it all with regal indifference, though Elias swore she was secretly enjoying the chaos. By the time coyotes started offering ‘consulting services’ to rejected suitors, I realized I wasn’t just in a desert—I was in a comedy.”
